This training program can stack into several of YCCC’s programs and certificates including the Behavioral Health Studies Degree and the Alcohol and Drug Counselor certificate.
Program Format: Hybrid – the majority of the material will be delivered in an online format but students will be required to come to campus for some portions of the hands-on training for credentialing.

Training Dates
Required Orientation: March 11, 2025
Module I (Fully Online): March 17 - May 3, 2025
Introduction to Human Services (3 Credits)
Case Management (3 Credits)
Module II (Hybrid): May 13 - June 28, 2025
Special Topics In Social Work: Fundamental Skills Labs (3 Credits)
- Students will have the option to attend one of two in-person lab
sessions held on Wednesdays: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM OR 5:00 PM
to 7:00 PM.
Introduction to Victim Advocacy (3 Credits) -
Eligibility Requirements
-Maine Resident
-18+ years of age
-High School Diploma or equivalent by completion of the program
